Daniel & I decided maybe revealing our faces and a little something about us could be kinda cool…
We both grew up in small towns just outside the Manawatu, myself in Woodville and Daniel in Marton. We met in Palmerston North in 2005. At that time I was a single mum of one and Daniel a single man. Who knew, 16 years later, we’d find ourselves married with our Miss 11 and Mr 21 and that we’d be telling this story…
While we’ve always strived to make better lives for our family and have worked in different roles over the years,not in a million years did we ever think that having our very own business, let alone starting one, would be an option for us. But when Daniel was put off work for nearly 18 months, returning to work was always going to be hard, more so not knowing what he could do? In 2019, the conversation about starting our own business began and a lot of brainstorming, a lot of “dos”, “don’ts”and “what ifs” happened over a very long time until, well, here we are, A Ford 2 Move Ltd.
Scary? Yes! Proud? 100%
Our life goals are pretty simple, by being good people, by being kind and living our best life, which we try to mirror in our work life 😊
